BCZ MEcEnat
AN ENDOWMENT FUND SERVING OUR REGION AND ITS RESIDENTS.
Created in 2022, the BCZ Mécénat endowment fund supports initiatives of general interest in the educational, social, cultural, sporting and scientific fields, with a particular focus on environmental protection.
And because these initiatives affect us all, we have made this a collaborative project, involving all our associates in choosing the beneficiaries of part of the fund.
A COLLECTIVE CHOICE THAT REFLECTS OUR VALUES
Thanks to the votes of our teams, the BCZ Mécénat endowment fund now supports three associations carrying out significant work in the fields of health and social integration:
PERSÉVÉRANCE (INSTITUT DE CANCÉROLOGIE DE L’OUEST)
A renowned cancer research institute, the ICO supports research, innovation, prevention and care projects for the benefit of patients and caregivers.
Association LAzare
Association Lazare develops shared housing for homeless people and young professionals throughout France. With houses in Angers and Nantes, these initiatives are particularly meaningful to our employees in the Loire region.
PROVIDENTI’ELLES
Based in Angers and Nantes, this association creates reception and co-working spaces to facilitate the social and professional reintegration of women.
SPORT BRINGS US TOGETHER
Since 2023, BCZ Mécénat has also been supporting the players of Union Féminine Angers Basket 49 (UFAB 49), the only professional team in Maine-et-Loire to compete at the highest level in France and Europe. Based in Angers for 20 years, UFAB 49 is highly committed to social issues, particularly among young girls in the Monplaisir neighbourhood.
This partnership goes beyond financial support; since December 2024, we have had the opportunity to provide academic support to schoolgirls supported by the club. Around fifteen associates have accompanied these young girls during homework sessions, alongside a special educational needs teacher.
